We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Mailroom Team Leader based at one of our client sites in the Melbourne CBD.
The ideal candidate will be customer service and client focused and will enjoy the challenge of achieving positive results.
Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- People Management of a small team
- Management of mail & couriers
- Workplace management including contractor and vendors
- Management of WHS
- Produce monthly reports maintaining accurate data capturing procedures
- Ensure compliance with both client and company established policies and procedures
- Mail sorting, collection and distribution
- Manage staff by using 'lead by example' approach
- Preparing team rosters
- Ensure staff are meeting contract SLA’s & KPI
- Prepare and conduct employee evaluations
Personal Attributes:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (both written and oral)
- Learn as you go approach and be able to hit the ground running
- Ability to work in highly time-sensitive environment
- Demonstrates good problem solving abilities
- Ability to lead, motivate, train and retain staff members
- Always Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism
Key Qualifications & Previous Experience:
- Experience in a hospitality or customer facing role is highly regarded
- Experience in handling highly confidential documents
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Management experience of a small team including performance management
- Stakeholder engagement
You must be a team player who is hardworking and not afraid to have a hands-on approach. You must be client focused with excellent customer service skills. Ideally you will have had experience in a similar role and enjoy the challenge of achieving positive results.
