Job description

Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.
IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.
With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.

The role:
We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Administrator to join our team and commence on a permanent full-time basis working a 2/1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Administrator is responsible for sorting, distributing & handling all incoming departmental correspondence including the collation of statistics and data for reports.  
  
Other key duties & responsibilities include:  
  • Provide full administrative support to the Maintenance Department 
  •  Assist with Maintenance work order management, generation, entry, modifications, and closure, in the company databases, including CMMS
  • Compile and produce high quality documents and ensure confidentially, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct departmental administrative inductions and mobilisations for all new employees & contractors;
  • Create and maintain departmental requisitions, purchase orders & invoices.
  •  Create and control Maintenance Department purchasing and receiving in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of submittal documents
  • Provide information and data to Maintenance Management as to administrative requirements, issues and meetings.
  • Check department documentation for administrative accuracy and notify relevant Management of inaccuracies when found.
  • Attend to other general administrative tasks (undefined) as directed and required.  
About you:  
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a similar role within a contractor project environment in the mining or related industry.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with ability to manage concurrent and changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with strong report writing skills
  • Experience with Pronto would be an advantage
  • Highly resourceful nature with the availability to work under pressure.
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen
  • Provide a current police clearance.
