As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Maintenance and Logistics Manager located in Mackay or Brisbane to join us in optimising our logistical processes and ensuring the efficiency and functionality of our equipment. This position is a blend of office-based responsibilities in both our Mackay and Brisbane offices and regular visits to our projects throughout Queensland, requiring strong leadership skills and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of our logistics operations and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and storage.
- Manage the Maintenance and repair schedules through our maintenance system and external fitters for all company equipment, including vehicles, machinery, and other assets.
- Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of equipment to identify and address any issues or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts for equipment Maintenance and repair services.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment Maintenance and repairs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in logistics and equipment maintenance to continuously improve operations.
- Seek business opportunities for plant hire if required.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mechanical or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management and equipment maintenance, preferably in construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly address issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety
