United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody. UWJV is a Glencore managed operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum.
Reporting to the Maintenance Execution Superintendent, in this role you will be responsible for:
- supporting Engineers, Supervisors and Maintenance Service Providers to achieve key outcomes as identified in the Maintenance and Engineering Strategy
- providing strategic direction and technical support to contract service providers
- promoting, demonstrating and monitoring health and safety standards
- managing resources, and
- monitoring the execution of work
A relevant trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) is essential for this role and a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline is desirable. You will have experience in the management of personnel in a frontline leader role. Your proven relationship building skills will be complemented by well developed, interpersonal and influencing abilities.

United Wambo Joint Venture is located in Warkworth, approximately 20 kilometres south-west of Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley.
This role will work a Monday to Friday roster.
