About the Role
Due to continued growth of the business, we have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Williamstown team. This position will focus on the Coordination of maintenance activities across our Eastern & Central Australia Businesses and sites. Having a Mechanical qualification is desirable due to the nature of the work. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to work locally on a standard 38-hour week. There may be the requirement to travel from time to time.
Role Accountabilities include:
Safety and Compliance
Drive and nurture a culture that adheres to safety guidelines, policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, legislation and codes.
Maintenance Planning
Contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive maintenance plans and forecasting including preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.
Equipment Maintenance
Oversee and undertake maintenance activities for various equipment and systems, including but not limited to mechanical, high pressure water, chemical, catalyst, breathing apparatus to ensure smooth operation and compliance with legislation, Australian and New Zealand standards and where applicable industry best practices.
Repairs and Troubleshooting
Coordinate and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, malfunctions and emergencies, to minimise downtime and maintain safe operation in services.
Vendor Management
Develop and work with existing local vendors to support our maintenance activities.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance history, inspections, work completed on preventative and corrective activities and prepare reports on maintenance performance leading and lagging indicators, budget adherence and utilisation, including but not limited to industry practicing key performance indicators and key results areas.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a Maintenance Supervisor or Coordinator role or similar
- Mechanical qualification (desirable)
- Experience working in the Construction/Mining/Oil & Gas industry
- Industrial Services experience (desirable)
- Strong experience around asset maintenance
- Safety leadership
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
