The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our Granville team as a Maintenance Coordinator and Planner. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our Granville team. Working closely with the operations team, you will provide technical support and use your maintenance systems expertise to improve asset utilisation across the plant.

What Will You Do?
In this exciting role, you’ll be able to use the breadth of your experience. You will:
- coordinate planned maintenance and repair schedules and teams
- manage contractors and outside service providers to effect repairs and statuary checks
- provide asset utilisation and maintenance expertise to support the maintenance team across the plant
- conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability
- ensure all maintenance procedures and tasks are developed and executed using the appropriate safety standards
- take ownership of the strategic maintenance direction for the plant and the assets onsite
More About You
Key to this role is your previous experience in a similar reliability or maintenance position. You will hold trade qualifications in electrical or mechanical and have the following experience and competencies:
- expertise in maintenance management systems and asset utilisation
- understanding of maintenance related CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software such as MEX
- ability to work in a team and manage all aspects of safety including the creation and execution of JSEA’s and SWMS’s
- effective communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
