Your new role
We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate maintenance planning. Working directly with the Operations Team you will be responsible for the following:
- Delegation of repair and maintenance tasks to the workshop and contractors
- Manage and raise work orders to completion for all repair and maintenance tasks
- Track completion of work orders and maintain databases
- Raise purchase orders for external maintenance providers, parts and supplies
- Maintenance compliance in the Melbourne municipal fleet
Your skills and experience
Reporting to the National Maintenance Services Manager you will perform duties and be responsible for:
- Experience working within a maintenance support team or workshop environment
- Planned maintenance knowledge within the JD Edwards environment
- Demonstrated background in a mechanical or industry related type role
- Knowledge of regulatory body requirements in relation to heavy vehicles (State transport authorities, Environment and Safety authorities)
- Mechanical aptitude, high discipline, and attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
