Our client is a Global Transport organisation who specialise in Cargo handling solutions. They are looking for Maintenance Electricians to join their highly skilled team to perform maintenance and repairs of automated stacking cranes, yard gate automation systems and other infrastructure as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Undertake planned repairs & refurbishment to required standards, aligned to your qualifications, licenses, and experience.
- Undertake unplanned repairs/tasks in a timely manner to required standards.
- Conduct maintenance & servicing.
- Accurate & timely completion of designated job & service records.
- Record machine and service data as required.
- Maintain and record an accurate timesheet of events.
- Operation of Safety "tag out/lock out" process.
- Risk & hazard assessment as associated with allocated tasks.
- Liaise with & assist any specialist contractors or providers engaged by the Business with respect to works, as appropriate.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company OHS&E regulations.
Required Skills and experience:
- Experience specialising in fault finding, repairs and PM service on heavy plant, maritime and or industrial cranes and or automated manufacturing environments.
- Experience dealing with programmable logic controllers.
- Container or intermodal terminal asset maintenance experience
- PLC Siemens S7
- AC & DC Variable Speed Drives
- High Voltage Isolation
- Industrial Electric Motors (up to 800kw)
- Hydraulic Controls
- Profibus / CANN bus Communications
- Power Generators
Licenses and Tickets required:
- Vehicle licence
- Australian Electrical licence
- EWP- Elevated work Platforms
- Boom lift (Above 11m) - Ideal but not a deal breaker.
- Scissor lift.
- Forklift- ideal.
