The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter (ANZSCO 323211) to join our busy team at our Rockingham facility. This is a full time role with overtime hours, rostered mornings/afternoons and some weekend work (Saturday).
Excellent rates of pay and conditions are available for people who have experience on poultry processing machines similar to those made by Multivac, Marel, Handtmann, Townsend and Garos. The role provides key support to production by ensuring that machines, plant and equipment are safe and working efficiently and performing the preventative care and maintenance program on existing equipment as well as attending to any breakdowns or issues of the same. Relocation assistance may be available to a successful interstate or international candidate.
In this role your tasks include but are not limited to:
*Test, troubleshoot and isolate malfunctioning equipment
*Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment as required
*Implement preventative care and maintenance for poultry processing equipment
*Improve operations to optimise results and efficiency of delivery in line with quality standards and Company requirements
*Assist with on-site installations
*Liaise and communicate with internal departments, suppliers and other Service Providers
*Provide training to other maintenance and production staff
*Observe and ensure that all QA and OHS requirements are met and adhered to in the performance of your role
What We Need from You

*The ability to fault find and make decisions and repairs whilst under pressure
*Previous experience in a food production environment is highly regarded.
