Join this reputable National manufacturer in the Maintenance team as the Day or Afternoon Shift Fitter. Working within a fast paced environment you will be supporting the manufacturing plant in all aspects of maintenance.

Duties will include but not limited too:

• Address and resolve issues associated with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in plant
• Pursue the continuous improvement of plant equipment, machinery and systems
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC equipment and machinery
• Work closely with management in relation with maintenance and equipment issues
• Apply a planned and preventative approach to maintenance
• Have a clear focus on quality and safety
• You will also need:
  
  • Trade qualifications
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of working with PLC, Hydraulic, Pneumatic machinery and safety procedures
  • Experience in a relevant maintenance and repair environment, preferably food or beverage
  • MIG, TIG and stainless steel welding skills
  • A sound knowledge of basic electrical components and possess a disconnect/connect license
  • Good fault finding skills and a sound knowledge in pneumatics
  • General machining and fabrication skills
  • Ability to apply initiative and strong problem solving skills while working autonomously or in a team
