Maintenance Fitter

Acu-Tech,a nationwide leader in the manufacture and supply of polyethylene pipe,products and services, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter tojoin our experienced and service orientated team.

 Therole is mainly involved in the fabrication, fitting and assembling ofstructural components of various production equipment/machinery.  You will be joining a tight knit highlyskilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipemanufacturer.

 Responsibilities of the role includes but are notlimited to:

·      Interpreting drawingsand specifications and determining suitable materials, methods and operationssequence.

·      Setting up andoperating machining tools for pressing, cutting, boring, drilling, threadingand bending.

·      Fitting andassembling parts.

·      Conductquality inspections on parts, equipment and machinery.

·      Preparemaintenance schedules and quality checks.

·      Fault findingand diagnostic testing to determine root causes of equipment/machinemalfunctions.

·      Replacing damaged/faultycomponents on equipment and machinery.

·      Accuraterecord keeping of all maintenance and repairs.

·      Assist inequipment and machinery commissioning.

·      Adhering toall safety rules and regulations.

 Requirements to be successful

•           Minimum of 3years’ experience in a similar role and responsibilities
•          RelevantEngineering Degree or Diploma
•          A team playerwith a can do attitude
