The opportunity:
Based at Portarlington, on the Bellarine Peninsular, this part time role will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be part of our small but highly effective maintenance team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key outcomes will be to:
.1. Carry out mechanical repairs to equipment and facilities as directed by
Maintenance Manager.
.2. Provide coordination of internal and external resources for mechanical
maintenance or capital projects as directed by your Manager.
.3. Be compliant and participate in safe work processes such as stop and thinks,
.4. SOP development, toolbox meetings and hazard reporting.
.5. Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.
.6. Perform preventative and reactive type mechanical maintenance work on
plant and equipment to ensure that it is safe to operate, available for operation when required and meets all regulatory/compliance requirements
.7. Perform incidental and breakdown mechanical type maintenance work as
required.
.8. Ensure that all appropriate documentation is completed for the relative
activities that are performed.
.9. Actively participate in all lean manufacturing/maintenance activities such as spare parts management, improvement projects, etc.
.10. Work with site personnel to achieve required quality of production outputs.
.11. Contribute to site compliance through best practice maintenance techniques.
What you will bring to the team:
.1. Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting/Boiler Maker/Fitter and Turner.
.2. Work experience maintaining comparable plant and equipment within a fast paced working environment.
.3. Work experience within a process manufacturing environment team
.4. Demonstrated skills in the required trade disciplines.
.5. Understanding and working knowledge of process control logic, i.e. PLCs,
motor control.
.6. Hydraulic and Pneumatic system experience and efficient fault finding skills.
