Supplying the international market with award-winning Olive Oil since 1998, our client is Australia’s largest Olive producer with over 2.6 million Olive Trees planted across NSW and VIC. Spanning over 7,000 ha, they successfully manage 3 established Olive Groves in Wemen, Boort, and Boundary Bend in North-West Victoria.
Boasting a dynamic culture built on collaboration, support and teamwork, they continue to produce high-quality product using sustainable farming methods. Located at their flagship Olive Grove in Boundary Bend - consisting of an on-site mill, oil storage facility, and over a million planted trees – a Maintenance Manager is required to join their team.

Ensuring high-quality maintenance across their fleet of state-of-the-art machinery, the Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in the continuous development of equipment maintenance standards. Reporting to the Grove Manager, this role will effectively manage a team of 2 full-time Mechanics whilst coordinating external contractors when required.
With a strong focus on workplace health and safety, your duties will consist of, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring a well-stocked inventory of spare parts and supplies, whilst managing budgetary spend.
- Coordinating installation/commissioning of new plant equipment.
- Recording accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair work performed on each piece of equipment and machinery.
- Conducting regular performance and development reviews for your team, ensuring effective coaching/mentoring is provided.
- Maintaining strong communication across all departments to ensure timely maintenance activities are met.
- Managing and assisting with preventative and breakdown maintenance programs across all vehicles and equipment, consisting of Tractors, Colossus Harvesters, Sprayers, Slashers, Utes, Mules, Skirters, and more.
About You
The successful applicant will have proven experience in staff-management, budgeting and ordering of resources, and hands-on machinery maintenance. This role will ideally suit someone keen to further develop their management skills within a well-established farming operation.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:
- Relevant mechanical trade certificate
- Strong welding/fabrication skills (Desirable)
- Previous experience working on farming machinery (Desirable)
- Effective leadership skills with proven ability to build rapport within a team
- Ability to travel to other work sites as/when required
- Open Driver’s Licence (essential)
