North Eastern Community Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Maintenance Manager to join their team on a Full Time Basis.
You will be responsible for supervising a small maintenance team and responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance services including corrective and preventative maintenance programs, projects, provision of on call and ensuring compliance to statutory regulations and Codes of Practice.
The Maintenance Manager will be required to participate in the maintenance on call roster.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold the highest standards of care
- Inspire and empower your team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
- Demonstrate financial acumen in managing the facility’s resources and budget
- Scheduling maintenance tasks and supervising maintenance workers
- Responding to maintenance emergencies
- Developing and maintaining equipment maintenance logs
- Apply proactive maintenance management measures
- Knowledge of Boilers, Chillers, Air conditioning units, Plumbing, Maintenance management system, BMS
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritise maintenance requests
Desirables;
- Trade qualification
- Extensive experience working in a hospital environment
- Previous experience in a maintenance management role
- Previous experience in a computerised maintenance system
- Electrical license
