Our fleet comprises of 160 pieces of equipment.
Our standards as well as our client base are set above normal Industry Compliance levels.
Specifically, in regards to safety & maintenance compliance which is audited externally on an annual basis.
DJW have been successful in securing long term contracts in various regions with multiple customers and we intend to increase our “footprint” further over the coming years.
Our current Management Profile now requires the skillset of a dedicated individual who can take on the responsibility of managing the maintenance aspects of a fleet this size whilst working in and scheduling with the Operations team in ensuring all (KPI’s) Key Performance Indicators across the Company in regards to the fleet compliance standards are met.
The Company is based out of Wingfield SA, however the majority of our assets predominantly start and finish at Edinburgh Parks Coles DC.
We operate in all of Metro & Regional SA and currently pick up and deliver Interstate (Vic) which is our intended growth area.
We have affiliations with Service providers, ie: Tyre repair, Mechanics, Tow & Tech support contacts in multiple locations across SA due to our geographic footprint.
Remuneration: Salary: $85,000 per annum
Superannuation: 11% (rate at time of employment)

Job Description:
The Business Model is to provide an optimum service of Refrigerated Transportation meeting all client DOT (delivery on time) windows in a Safe & Commercially competitive manner.
This role is pivotal, the fleet must remain above all Safe & Road compliant, (fit for task).
The various units in the fleet have differing maintenance and servicing requirements, kilometer driven intervals, others are time.
Service requirements and sign off between audits differ, coupled to this you will have unscheduled breakdowns to manage.
You will ensure the fleet Maintenance System assists in minimizing downtime, and optimizing overall fleet efficiency.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that DJW Fleet & Maintenance Management Systems comply with all regulatory standards.

This will be the basis of performance measurement on this position.
The position will be trained by the current Operations & Maintenance Managers position who is moving to a “Business Development” role.
The position will report directly to the General Manager and then the Managing Director.
This is a new role in our company but one that can grow with performance, responsibility and the ongoing success of future contracts.
Preferred skill set – But not essential:
- Experience in fleet management or vehicle maintenance, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, regulations, and safety standards relevant to fleet operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
