Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner and developer of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including operation and maintenance of the Common User Facility incorporating the largest shiplift in the southern hemisphere.
An opportunity exists for a Precinct Maintenance Manager to join ANI’s Operations team in our Osborne office. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the role will provide management oversight, coordination and supervision to all aspects of maintenance across the ONS Precinct (non-tenanted) as it relates to plant and equipment including planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution using internal and external labour and subcontractor support.
The role will also monitor the maintenance across the ONS Precinct (tenanted) to ensure tenants are meeting their obligations and maintaining the premises in accordance with the terms of their access agreement.
In this role, you will be required to:
- Develop and implement precinct wide maintenance strategies and plans
- Provide oversight of tenant maintenance plans to ensure compliance with ANI’s requirements including developing and implementing audit schedules
- Complete and submit against annual council reporting requirements
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders during planning and implementation of maintenance projects to ensure outcomes meet requirements
- Develop the team and ensure task and relationships are maintained to agreed standards

As ANI’s operations interface with Defence projects on site, applicants must be Australian citizens and either hold, or be able to gain and maintain a Defence security clearance. Applicants must also hold a current C Class driver’s licence and will be required to consent to undergoing background checks.
