Chandler Macleod is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join our client Poultry Warehouse. The main Position of Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for the budgeting, planning and implementation of all preventative and emergency maintenance and procurement and installation of plant, equipment and infrastructure associated with the operation of the Processing.
The primary functions of this role, including but are not limited to;
- Achieve Maximum Productivity for Maintenance department: Processing plant and equipment is able to be operated in a safe manner to its full capacity whilst ensuring that working life is maximised
- Plan and manage daily/weekly/monthly production plan to ensure customer requirements are satisfactory and Implement on the companies Quality and GMP program through support, procedures, implementation and training programs - Emergency Maintenance of Plant and Equipment ensures that emergency maintenance procedures are developed and implemented to provide reliable and immediate response to requests.
- maintenance and Repair of Buildings and Infrastructure: The position responds to the required levels of maintenance and repair of buildings on site and other infrastructure.
- Maintain a Direct Working Relationship with Workplace Colleagues: All communication is conducted in a manner which is clear, effective, to the point, and shows respect for workmates and readily accessible during work hours and promptly responds to requests on matters related to the operation of the maintenance area and maintenance scheduling.
- Continual Improvement Commitments: identifies areas for improvement, participates in plant problem solving teams, and coordinates problem solving teams in partnership with the Operation Manger
Your required competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)
Experience
· Previous experience in a similar role/capacity
· Good project management skills particularly in relation to one-off issues or concerns that require a prompt response or immediate action
· Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
· Hands‐on approach with a high attention to detail
· Works well independently with minimum supervision and is also a team player.
· Ability to supervise, train and develop staff.
Salary on offer for this role is $120-130k + superannuation.
