Moving millions of people needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our Network & Infrastructure division in the position of Maintenance Officer. We are seeking applications from trade qualified applicants with experience in maintenance who can monitor contractors in the delivery of minor repairs to facilities assets, emergency equipment, associated monitoring systems and building services across the PTA network. The incumbent will monitor and coordinate preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance to ensure completion and compliance to requirements.About YouTo be considered for this position you must have:
- A Trade Certificate with demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary maintenance and/or project deliveries.
- Proven experience supervising contractors in multi-disciplinary projects and maintenance activities.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations particularly in relation to safe work practices.
- Sound problem solving skills and an ability to use initiative.
- Ability to use relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, with a demonstrated capacity to maintain complete and accurate records.
- A covering letter outlining your relevant skills, abilities and suitability for the position as per the JDF in no more than 2 pages.
