The role
Applications are currently invited from experienced maintenance professionals/carpenters to join our maintenance team on a full time basis.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Officer is responsible for general maintenance, including basic repairs or handyman type tasks, classroom/office set ups, and the overall upkeep of school facilities.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in, or an aptitude for, a Maintenance Officer type position.
- Competent cleaning skills and/or basic handyman skills.
- The ability to handle a range of machinery and powered hand tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to supporting and engaging with others in a team environment.
- A current employee related Working with Children Check.
