Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all common areas at the property including all amenity areas daily.
- Conduct minor repairs and handyman tasks, such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, as needed.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to schedule and oversee larger maintenance projects and repairs.
- Document and track maintenance requests, work orders, and repair expenses accurately.
- Establishing 24-hour daily maintenance coverage at the community, taking calls personally where necessary.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in building maintenance processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency of the building.
- Previous experience in residential building maintenance or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with renters, contractors, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in performing various handyman tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to maintenance and repairs is desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- $80,000 – $100,000 plus superannuation
