An opportunity exists to join the Infinite team as a Maintenance Officer in a full-time role, at our Southhaven facility - Padstow Heights Aged Care Facility | Infinite Care (infin8care.com.au).
You will be working as part of a maintenance team that takes great pride in the work that they do to maintain the facility. Day to day duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Undertake general day to day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines.
Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
Ensure smooth day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility.
Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; painting and test and tagging.
About You
Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred.
Previous experience in aged care or similar facility would be highly desirable.
You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules.
Demonstrated ability to learn and continuously improve maintenance operations.
Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner.
Positive `can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role.
Proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace.
Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
Commitment to attend safety specific training and upskilling sessions paid by the company.
Willingness to come up with safety ideas that improve awareness, hazard reduction and incident reporting.
Have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or apply via How to apply | NDIS).
As part of being an Infinite Aged care employee you will be required to complete pre-employment checks.
