Your new role
Operating within the maintenance team, your new role will see you working with state-of-the-art machinery within a packaging manufacturer with a culture-first environment. Your main duties will include carrying out maintenance (breakdown/preventative/proactive) timely and effectively to keep up the overall health/reliability of equipment, machines & services. You will have a proactive approach to maintenance as you work with the maintenance team to locate and identify potential faults to be rectified. As well as this, you will implement practices and controls that provide safe and effective plant waste management and fire safety.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Maintenance Fitter or Fitter & Turner
- Ability to troubleshoot faults on equipment with high standard diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of Preventative maintenance systems
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work on high speed lines under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Machining/welding experience (Able to produce/repair a part when required)
