About Us
Victorian Croatian Aged Care Services (CroCare) aims to provide quality caring services for the ageing with dignity and respect, care and support for each resident as an individual, in the tradition of the Croatian Australian community.
To this end, CroCare is a newly built 100 bed Aged Care facility that commenced service on the 5th July 2021. We aim to provide safety and care to the highest standard to our elderly, based on the foundations of dignity, choice and respect, while supporting each consumer as an individual, in the tradition of the Australian Croatian Community.
The Role
We are seeking a hard working, motivated individual with experience in supervision and coordination of maintenance programs. Trade qualifications and hands on maintenance skills required.
You have a vital role to play in completing general maintenance duties relating to the accommodation facilities and rooms whilst being proactive in managing and prioritising a large volume of varying tasks. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday.

You will be working with our team to ensure the facilities are consistently well maintained to the satisfaction of our residents.

Some of the tasks involved in this role include:
- Preventative maintenance Schedule.
- Coordinating and prioritising maintenance works.
- Accommodation/building general maintenance and repairs.
- Upkeep of grounds and facility;
- Organising contractors when required;
- Setting up of rooms and equipment, adhering to OH&S guidelines
- Reporting unserviceable or damaged equipment.
Successful applicants will have:
- Trade qualifications are highly desirable, but are not essential;
- Previous experience in maintenance support;
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage own time
- Excellent customer service;
- Good communication both written and verbal;
- Able to speak Croatian would be preferred
- Undergo a successful police check (at own cost)
- Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia.
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations (Triple dose) is mandatory.
- Evidence that you have had a current Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
