We have a great opportunity at our Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge located on our Cambrai Estate in Merriwa for an experienced Maintenance Officer. Being a Maintenance Officer with RAAFA means helping to provide a warm, welcoming environment for staff and residents alike.

The role and you:
- Responsible for all maintenance requirements and preventative maintenance program for our Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge facility
- Management and coordination of requests
- Coordinate external contractors and mainatin all documentation of maintenance services
- Ensure work does not interfere with resident safety and comfort while maintaining a safe working environment
- Work with Faciity and Property managers to escalate maintenance needs when beyond the scope of your expertise
- Contribute to maintaining a home-like environment for residents
- Previous experience in maintenance roles are essential
- Recent experience in an Aged Care Environment implementing corrective and preventative maintenance programs
About the Facilities:
The Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village are home to two of our Residential Care Centres in Merriwa: Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge.
Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge was opened in late 2007, situated at 85 Hester Avenue. Even though it is the smaller facility out of the two with 79 beds, the lodge still offers the same amount of care and services with permanent and respite care.
