The hospital is also a leader in innovation and adoption of new technologies, including the implementation of robotic surgical devices and virtual reality imaging technology.Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital The Maintenance Planner is part of the Engineering team to ensure reactive maintenance of the site(s)' assets to meet operational requirements, SJGHC's obligations with respect to Australian Standards, relevant regulatory and licensing requirements in a best practice and cost-effective manner and supporting the Engineering department with administrative and reception tasks to cover leave and absences.The PositionJob planning and coordination of reactive maintenance tasks (electronic work requests) in a computerised maintenance management system (MEX) involving regular interaction with Maintenance Engineer, Engineering caregivers, ward managers and contractors / suppliers.Job prioritisation based on the priority allocation table and job coordination and effective communication with various stakeholders.Manage the Engineering Service Mailbox.Manage new work requests and backlog management.Ensure accurate recording of time spent on job and perform productivity analysis.Ensure compliance with work programs and regulations, SJGHC Group and Hospital policies, building regulations, local authority by-laws, health, safety and welfare regulations, and fire regulations.Cost tracking and cost reports for review and optimization of cost.Escalate major breakdowns (affecting loss of function/potential business interruption to Manager Engineering Services.Investigate/follow up of Supplier invoices/quotes/service reports.Generate reports - Monthly reports for finance, monthly department KPI reports and outstanding job reports.You will have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in maintenance planning / job coordination, experience in computerised asset management and/or maintenance management systems, ability to understand asset management techniques and interpret those ideas into the Engineering Works Management System, self-driven, dynamic and result-oriented professional who can demonstrate continuous self-improvement and a good knowledge of all trades is required, due to nature of engineering problems in a modern hospital.To succeed you will have highly developed communication skills, including the ability to develop stakeholder partnerships, an understanding of finance and budgets and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.The BenefitsSalary: $73,804 to $79,469, plus 11% superannuation.A Permanent Full-Time position, working up to 76 hours a fortnight.Generous salary packaging options.Up to $15,900 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, or other everyday living expensesUp to $2650 on meal entertainment, holiday accommodation and venue hireAccess to novated leasing to use pre-tax dollars for a car and expensesA healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programsEmployee discount on St John of God Hospital & Medical Services and Private Health InsuranceEmployee support through our dedicated free Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Innovative Professional Development opportunitiesGreen Travel Allowance availableA welcoming and supportive culture St John of God Health Care embraces diversity and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people with disabilities.
