The Opportunity
Reporting to the Engineering Reliability & Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, contractors and vendors to plan, schedule and execute to achieve required objectives
- Facilitate communication between production, planning & maintenance teams to ensure equipment is maintained with minimal production interruption
- Develop, maintain and compile asset reliability, criticality and condition information necessary for the asset planning, delivery and maintenance strategies
- Provide technical planning and scheduling for short and long term objectives to ensure optimal maintenance effectiveness
- Participate in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution and continuous improvement
- Determine obstacles and assist with their removal to ensure future work can be completed as scheduled, discuss backlog issues and recurring corrective work orders
- Monitor equipment performance, investigate asset failures, analyse data, and develop and execute action plans to improve asset reliability
- Analyse, identify, recommend, and implement solutions for reducing production downtime, and non-value-added activities
- Proactively contribute to the development of safe systems of work in all stores areas.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Technology graduate or prior experience in related maintenance trade work
- Prior experience in preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational, planning / scheduling and time management skills.
- Knowledge of RCA, MTBF, MTTR and TPM
- MEX knowledge
- Strong MS Office computer skills.
- Excellent communication and confident dealing with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence when needed
