Overview of Role
An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at our Moorabbin manufacturing plants. The Maintenance Planner will provide logistical support to the maintenance teams in applying the TPM maintenance management strategy. The position will initially report into the Reliability Engineering Manager ANZ.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Manage the CMMS
- Generate planned and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure work feedback through work orders, is timely fed back into the maintenance management system
- Plan maintenance work and ensure availability and adequacy of all resources (spares, tools, manpower and time) required for the work before scheduling
- Work order loop closure in the CMMS
- Support the trades in their maintenance work execution
- Facilitate problem solving so that equipment availability and efficiency is maximised, breakdowns minimised and manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum
- Provide actual and planned work costing reports
- Support activities related to the deployment of the asset management strategy
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Trade background, with industry experience or Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline
- Previous experience in planning and scheduling roles preferably within a maintenance or project management environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- CMMS knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent data analysis and report writing skills
- Awareness of occupational health, safety and environment legislation and requirements
- Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills
- Results driven

- Ability to work autonomous and as part of a team
- Persistent and resilient in driving outcome
- Excellent Planning and organisational skills
