CHC is seeking a Maintenance Planning Supervisor for its West Perth Office.

Role Summary
The Maintenance Planning Supervisor (MPS) is responsible to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager on all matters relating to maintenance planning in the Asia Pacific Region (APAC). The MPS is required to advise all key stakeholders on all matters relating to Maintenance Planning and Production planning. Have overall accountability to ensure all maintenance is scheduled and planned in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program and CASA Regulations.

Ensure all Maintenance is scheduled and planned in conjunction with local regulations, company policies and local work instructions.
Maintain long range maintenance plan to include major and critical components and ensure that all key stakeholders are advised on planning matters relating to Base Maintenance Events and major component replacements coming due. Chairing the Base Maintenance Monthly Planning meeting will be the avenue to provide key stakeholders a view on maintenance demand and execution forecast.
Scheduling maintenance activities across the Asia Pacific Region to ensure that each maintenance task is performed within the tolerances of the maintenance task interval prescribed in the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) including Airworthiness Directives and Modifications in the most cost efficient and safe manner possible, maximising task interval yield whilst also mitigating operational risk.
Chair and Attend Pre-Input meetings for future maintenance events ensuring all requirements, resources and materials are available prior to the event starting.
Chair Weekly planning meetings in accordance with local Work instructions and Company policies.
Monitoring and updating utilisation for the fleet to ensure accurate tail balancing is achieved and forecast / actual variation is kept to a minimum. Liaising with Contract Operations and Finance regarding fleet utilisation requirements for the future.
Provide Maintenance outlook Scenarios, 45 Day Plans and Heavy maintenance plans as required.
Support the AMO on matters relating to Production Planning as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

Essential:
Five years’ experience in matters for which they are responsible
Two years’ experience in matters for which they are responsible provided they have at least three additional years’ experience in civil aircraft maintenance
technical qualification that relates to matters for which they are responsible
Excellent knowledge of Local Aviation regulations
Desirable:
Have the necessary pre-requisites to hold a CASA Form 4 appointment as an RM (Responsible Manager).
Supervisory experience of at least 5 years.
Current CASA, AME licenses or equivalent aviation experience preferred.
