What to expect:
In this role is reporting to a superintendent in Maintenance, you will draw on your proficient leadership and technical capabilities to plan, manage and execute assigned works onsite.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the team, demonstrating excellence in personal interaction, employee engagement, employee relations, and teamwork.
- Establish, maintain, and govern risk and quality management plans to ensure effective management of the maintenance program's scope of work.
- Supervise maintenance-related works for general mine mobile plant
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to ensure the provision of appropriately skilled maintenance resources, with fit-for-purpose processes and tools, are available to achieve asset health
- 2-3 years + experience as a Maintenance Supervisor within a Brownfield coal mine site (would also consider a leading hand in the pit looking to step up)
- Proven experience in supervising the maintenance of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment
- Hold current S1,2,3 and G2 competencies desired not mandatory.
- Trade qualification in a related industry is advantageous
- Experience in scopes, costs and schedules for multiple scopes of works on largescale maintenance works
- Familiarity with the Mine Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations
Strong technical experience in maintenance within a heavy industry environment - Knowledge of maintenance processes, including work management, reliability, information management, cost control, and budgeting
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible attitude and sound work ethic
- Ability to achieve results and work within specified time frames
- Sound understanding of workplace OH&S
This is a permanent role with a leading mine service provider, based in the the Central Queensland Region on a generous annual salary + market allowance. Working on an attractive 7:7 roster, DIDO to the mine with accommodation and meals provided.
