Our client provides essential maintenance services across Far North Queensland. They are currently seeking a self-motivated and dedicated Preventative Maintenance Supervisor to join their busy team on a short-term contract with possible extension.
Your new role
Your new role will be diverse and rewarding, joining the existing asset management team you will be responsible for:
Contract administration covering a range of Preventative Maintenance services
Supervision of contractors and other staff
Technical knowledge and good understanding of building services
Competent in the use of excel, word and outlook
Participate in and facilitate WHS audits, undertake on-site WHS inspections including plant and equipment checks

This is a Monday to Friday role, working up to 40hrs per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You have strong computer skills and extensive trades/maintenance background. You have good knowledge of Australian standards and are dedicated to WH&S. You hold a wealth of knowledge across building and construction industry. You have a strong work ethic and are motivated to expand upon your experience.
Building Trade Qualification and/or relevant experience working across residential/commercial maintenance
Construction White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Sound Computer Skills
Have a keen eye for detail
Knowledge and understanding of site compliance requirements and relevant legislation
Strong leadership skills and demonstrated supervisory experience
