Job description: About the role Reporting to the State Operations Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for team safety, overall asset management, asset uptime improvement and operating within the maintenance budget.This role will plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities to support operations, ensure all compliance and statutory work is completed as planned and maximise use of maintenance labour hours. You will work with current systems and people to continuously support the IBR reinforcing production facilities, deliverables and KPI's. You will also be required to deal with and manage contractors on site.This role will oversee both the Sunshine and Noble Park sites across both day and afternoon shift.Your responsibilities will include: Plant and equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, machine maintenance and condition monitoring Lead the workshop team (mechanical and electrical) across both sites and develop the team for the future Provide technical support to the production team/operations to ensure that breakdowns are fixed with a sense of urgency Executing preventative maintenance plans and minimise unplanned downtime on assets. Use CMMS system to drive maintenance plans, schedules, and execution. Operating to set maintenance budget - manage monthly spend budget and labour utilisation. Critical spares management and ordering. Actively monitor the workplace to determine the presence of hazards and take appropriate action to rectify Ensure all employees and contractors are inducted and receive appropriate training to perform activities safely Participate in machine safety inspections, risk assessments and modification controls. About your experience You are an experienced leader who values safety, efficiency and leads by example. Your background in plant and equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance and leading a team within the manufacturing industry will see you excel in this role.To be successful in this role, you will have: A trade qualification (mechanical or electrical) with 5 years' experience A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role A strong knowledge of computerised maintenance management system (Mainpac) advantageous A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to adhere to and drive internal safety systems Effective budgeting and performance management experience Effective labour utilisation understanding to ensure operational requirements are met Strong communication, time management, decision-making and problem-solving skills About our team InfraBuild Reinforcing as a business unit is a full-service reinforcing supplier to tier 1 builders and mega infrastructure projects across Australia.
