A global company who is a market leader in container handling solutions is on the hunt for a Shift Supervisor to join the team on a rotating shift roster (one week morning, one week afternoon).
The Site supervisor will be in charge of managing on-site maintenance operations and personnel to make sure all site works are performed according to procedure and safety requirements.

Purpose of the Job:
- To supervise on-site maintenance operations and personnel
- Manage team and individual employee performance
- Ensure all site works are performed safely
- Report to the Maintenance Supervisors & Maintenance Superintendent
- Efficiently allocate labour to tasks and execute Plan.
- Meet and exceed companies Key Performance Indicators
- Evaluate the skills of workforce and determine training requirements by individual to increase the overall skill set of the staff

Job Requirements:
Education
- Formal trade qualification (Fitter/Mechanical/Electrical)
- Post trade qualification (Hydraulics/Electronics etc.)
Experience
- 5 years' experience in a supervisory leadership role within a Manufacturing, Mining, or Logistics heavy industry (with trade based mechanical or electrical tradespersons)
- Experience in managing a technical service operation
- Experience in the mechanical handling, port or industrial operations industry sector
- Previous experience with computer based service and or maintenance management systems
- Experience interacting and managing industrial relationships
- Experience working in a Union site is a must
