About the Role:
For well over 120 years our client has been known as one of Australia’s most well established boutique brick manufacturers. They are famous for bespoke textures, colours and finishes on their exclusive range of bricks and pavers, which are utilised throughout Australia and the world.
An opportunity is now available for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for maintaining and operating plant and mechanical equipment, ensuring that everything is consistently in optimum working order. This is a very hands on and autonomous role with the ideal candidate required to have relevant trade qualifications, a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of industrial equipment. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively and meet key deadlines will be key to your success.

Duties:
- Execution of planned and breakdown maintenance activities
- Accurate recording of machinery service and repairs
- General fitting and fabrication duties
- Assist in the maintenance of heavy machinery through welding and fitting work
- Work across a range of heavy machineries such as forklifts, brick manufacturing equipment, facility machinery, etc
- Undertake general labour and power tools activities
- Drive processes and ensure quality control
- Ensure adherence to company OH&S policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ in a similar role
- Relevant Fitter Trade qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A hands-on and flexible attitude
- Willing to work overtime when required
- MUST have full Australian working rights
