About the Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader is now available at our Meadow Springs facility. We provide a work culture that values you and invests in your career. Our culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
Working on a permanent Full Time basis, the role requires you to undertake and manage the regular corrective and routine maintenance around the site primarily working on the external groundworks but also internal work inside our care facility.
- Manage the periodic inspection and delivery of statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance of the built and surrounding environment, plant, and equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance schedules, standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ensure all essential safety requirements, including fire safety, electrical, plumbing, and other legislated tasks are carried out in accordance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and co-ordinate site maintenance staff, including work allocation, scheduling, and carrying out of maintenance for the site.

About you?
- • Demonstrated expertise in managing site maintenance budgets, work orders and requisitions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and domestic construction practice, and maintenance
procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of relevant legislation requirements, codes, and
standards, including aged care workplace health and safety, manual handling and environmental
management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a Maintenance Team, and work effectively within a team
environment
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including administration skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs – (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Understanding of, and empathy towards aged persons and their requirements living within a
retirement village or residential care facility

- Police Check or willing to obtain.
- 2024 Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
