We are currently recruiting an experienced Mobile Maintenance Team Leader for our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:
- Assist the Mobile Maintenance supervisor in leading the Maintenance Team on a daily basis to conduct safe, effective maintenance within planned time frames;
- Lead all workshop personal during their day-to-day tasks and ensuring everyone works safely and efficiently;
- Ensure effective and quality repairs to the fleet which consists of predominantly CAT equipment i.e. 6020B Excavators 992K & 988K Loaders, CAT 16M Graders, CAT D10T, D10T2 & 854K Dozers, CAT 777F/G Dump Trucks & 777F Water Carts;
- Control daily performance output as well meet safety and environmental KPI’s consistently;
- Manage and process maintenance documents such as work orders, parts requests and planning documents;
- Liaise with the production mining team daily to coordinate tasks.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Trade qualified mobile plant fitter – Heavy;
- Supervisory experience in the maintenance field of an operational mine;
- Experience with field service repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics;
- Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/ pneumatic;
- Product knowledge of Komatsu & Cat equipment;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff on all levels;
- High level of computer literacy, particularly CAT SIS, ET systems and MS office suite;
- Minimum MR class drivers’ licence;
- National Police Clearance( No older than 6 months);
