As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will manage a team of 3 and report to the Head of Operations while also working closely with the Production Leader, Supply Chain Team and contractors. Responsibilities will include leading the team to uphold the 95% target up-time, coordinating resources to complete scheduled work, monitoring maintenance spares inventory, and developing scope of works.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition into automation and assist with training.
- Work with the Production Team to plan preventative work schedules.
- Develop and maintain maintenance processes and strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, upgrades and expansion.
- Monitor budgets relating to maintenance.
- Report on maintenance performance, efficiencies, improvements and KPIs.
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Coordinate resources to be able to complete planned works.
- Monitor spares inventory for the maintenance department.
- Rectify reactive works safely and efficiently.
- Queensland Electrical Licence or Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar, technical role. Ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with and understanding of PLCs, SCADA and robotics.
- Continuous improvement methodologies – LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.
- Scheduling and planning background.
- Strong ability to lead and coach others.
- Exceptional time management capabilities.
- EWP and/or forklift licence (preferred).
