The role:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Oversee all investigations / corrective actions are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Order parts and supplies, and replace them as needed to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Ensure maintenance work areas are kept clean and tidy and comply with safe work policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tools and general handyman skills are essential.
- A skill set and qualifications including but not limited to - fitter/boilermaker/maintenance
- A current and valid forklift licence
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including safely lifting items weighing up to 20kg.
- Ability to communicate with various departments to provide information and updates on maintenance work
