The Position
The Operations Officer, under the direction of the Business Manager and as a member of the Museum's Business and Operations Team, is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations & facility management of the museum to deliver on its special accessibility requirements, providing a streamlined experience for our visitors and customers.
This position is specifically related to coordinating MAMA's daily operations as a public art museum.

Qualifications & experience
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence.
- Facility management
- Contractor engagement and management
- Office management
- Demonstrated commitment to the equitable provision of services to the public and inclusive work practices
- Appreciation for and understanding of the value of contemporary art to culture
- Coordinate facility management activities in collaboration with AlburyCity staff, MAMA staff and external contractors
- Coordinate business and operations administration across the MAMA team.
- Coordinate and deliver business and risk systems across the museum
- Provide event management support including client liaison
- Maintain an up-to-date and holistic understanding of the museum's objectives through a proactive engagement with museum activities and programs.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, working a minimum 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor.
