We are currently seeking a Management Accountant, based out of Collins Street, Melbourne to provide support in delivering strategic financial insights and analysis, with a focus on cost control, revenue enhancement and resource allocation. The successful applicant will be responsible for completing statutory and internal financial reports and financial analysis to support management decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing proactive and quality financial and operational support to the Transport & Infrastructure business.
- Project/contract accounting, general accounting and month end activities.
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare financial reporting
About You
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, financial management or accounting.
- Qualified CPA/CA or undertaking qualifications.
- 3+ years experience in an equivalent finance or accounting role.
- Sound technical accounting knowledge with the ability to question and interpret results and seek answers that appropriately justify the results.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and expertise in Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, JDE preferred but not essential.
- Can inform influential relationships with stakeholders, customers, employees and suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to breakdown complex matters for all stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
