About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for timely and accurate submission of Trade financial results to management in accordance with the company policy and procedure
- Responsible for the preparation and analysis of periodical financial and management reporting
- Participate in the development of annual budgets, which reflects business marketing plans and financial performance
- Monitor the trade performance against budget and forecast on a timely manner
- Participate in the preparation of annual accounts for the trades and ensure its compliance with IFRS, GAAP, IAS and also with the Group accounting policies
- Liaise with Line Management, Operations, Agency and Cost Control staff to ensure that results reflects true and fair picture
- Liaise with other financial staff in other business units to co-ordinate financial activities in providing accurate and timely information
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Commerce and Accounting
- Qualified/Part qualified CA/CPA will be preferred
- Four to five years of accounting experience, preferably in management accounting
- Computer literate - Including Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High degree of analytical and numerical skills
