The Opportunity 

Our client is recognised for its branding and strong market presence within their specific area of the consumer products industry. As a business they have grown and performed well over a number of years and have developed a reputation for success and innovation. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant focusing on the Costing area to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading consumer products business. The ideal candidate will have costing experience with solid management accounting skills and some exposure to cost accounting. This role will help develop and transform the existing supply chain network as well as act as a trusted and credible advisor to the supply chain team.
  
The Challenge:

Supporting the supply chain team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering of month-end activities
• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data and information
• Primary finance contact for their south-east manufacturing site
• Provide the sites with insight and analysis on performance, covering both production metrics and costs / recoveries
• Assist in the management of site operations to budget
• Provide financial support for all annual stocktakes and fixed asset audits
• Challenge existing processes and procedures to simplify and streamline workflows

  
The Expertise:

• CA or CPA qualified;
• Demonstrated experience in the accounting field, preferably in the supply chain or manufacturing environment;
• Well-developed financial modelling and reporting experience;
• Experience in SAP or other ERP’s preferable;
• A continuous improvement mindset and excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
