Our lodge operations are supported by a small but growing team based in our headquarters on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, as well as team members who work remotely or hybrid from around Australia. With plans for future growth to our portfolio, we are currently seeking a Management Accountant (Hybrid WFH) to join our head office team.
The Role…
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in our financial operations, providing support to a dedicated group of lodges and collaborating closely with our Lodge General Managers and our finance team. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee the general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and facilitate inter-company reconciliations.
Key responsibilities include preparing GST, FBT and Payroll, assisting with corporate income tax returns, and contributing to the preparation of year-end statutory accounts. Additionally, you will play a key role in budget preparation, quarterly reforecasting, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This is a hybrid working-from-home opportunity (2 / 3 day split) based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and this role presents growth and career opportunities as the group continues to expand on a global scale.
Do you have what it takes?
- 2+ years in a Finance or Accounting related role in a small to medium size company, hotel or resort advantageous
- Exposure to Budgeting and Forecasting in small to medium size companies
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a variety of financial accounting programs
