digitalsalt GmbH is looking for one Management Consultant (1 FTE ) to help clients to solve their most critical business problems in delivering better solutions on time and driving more effective ways of working. You’ll create and implement the strategies and plans to support the clients overall business success, offering your insight to drive change within the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
· Provide business and technology advisory services to clients across various topics within naval shipbuilding projects
· Evaluate the current state of the business processes and technology landscape, define the target state and develop roadmaps for the transition
· Support, define and promote the implementation of technical solutions and proof of concepts
· Design innovative technology solutions for different projects / customers to solve complex business problems
· Drive innovation for our clients by leveraging cross-industry views on technology trends
· Align business and technology strategies to deliver impactful insights and outcomes jointly with client management
· Actively network, manage and influence multiple client and stakeholder relationship groups including senior executives
· Drive business development by identifying key opportunities for business improvement and growth
· Manage medium-large sized teams and/or work efforts at a client
· Manage and mentor junior team members
Skills, experience and qualifications:
· 1-3 years experience in a technology consulting firm and/or within management of large corporate environment and a proven track record
· Profound experience within a maritime defence environment (incl. ASDEFCON procurement framework)
· Knowledge and passion for project management and systems engineering within large scale naval shipbuilding projects
· Profound knowledge of the system engineering standards EIA-632, ISO 15288, ISO 10007 and V-Model XT
· Broad generalist with digital and naval technology skills and knowledge
· Understanding of system architecture principles (incl. German Navy Building Group Code, RAN CMC, Australian Material Defence Exchange Standards)
· Broad experience in modern Scripting Languages, PLM and BI platforms, such as Python, Siemens Teamcenter, PowerBi
· Excellent communication, client facing and consulting skills
· Business sense coupled with analytical and problem solving skills
· Deadline-driven, organised and ability to multi-task
· Master’s degree in natural or engineering sciences
· Flexibility to travel interstate or international as required
· Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
