We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager Audit & Governance. In this key role, you will be responsible for oversight of the internal audit function, working closely with our outsourced internal audit provider to develop comprehensive internal audit plans that align with our strategic objectives.
The Manager Audit & Governance will ensure the timely completion and reporting of internal audits, focusing on continuous improvement and alignment with company goals. This role will also involve the development and execution of the annual Joint Venture audit program, along with financial governance assurance programs to enhance the internal controls of the Finance and Corporate Services (FCOS) group.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the outsourced internal audit provider to develop and implement comprehensive internal audit plans.
- Ensuring timely completion and reporting of internal audits in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Developing and executing the annual Joint Venture audit program, providing assurance on the effectiveness of financial controls.
- Overseeing Financial governance assurance programs to enhance internal controls within the Finance and Corporate Services group.
- Conducting regular assurance activities (e.g. Taxation audits, FCOS controls) and identifying areas for continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure audit programs remain relevant and effective.
