Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: The Manager Cardiac Scientific Services provides clinical leadership and managerial responsibility for the delivery of specialist Cardiac Scientific Services to the Cardiology Service. This role is responsible for human resource management, service provision, purchasing and maintenance of budgets relating to the Cardiology Diagnostic Testing Unit and Cardiac Scientific services in the Cardiac Catheterisation Suite. The manager works with the NUM Angiography, the Lead MIT, the Lead Cardiac Sonographer and the Clinical Leads to further the Cardiology Service as a whole.
