About the role
SummitCare is currently looking for a Manager Care and Wellbeing to join their facility in Waverley.
As the Manager of Care and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a care team to deliver high quality care for residents. You will need to be a strong communicator and use your diverse clinical skills to foster the best clinical practice and ensure compliance in all areas. This is an opportunity for someone who has a sound background in clinical management and is looking to further their career within the Aged Care space.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Current registration with AHPRA (RN essential)
- At least 4 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within an Aged Care Sector
- Management experience
- Ability to report on the clinical indicators for the facility and ensure that projects are carried out to completion
- A good working knowledge of clinical governance
- Excellent clinical decision making skills with the ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
- Proficiency and understanding of electronic care management systems and computer application
