The Manager Central Services will ensure the successful delivery of outcomes across a diverse portfolio including Non-Process Infrastructure, Village Projects, Maintenance Planning, Compliance and Waste Management. This role will require a self-sufficient individual who can drive outcomes, communicate with stakeholders at all levels and show initiative to bring new opportunities from delivery and into operations successfully.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with quality standards, Fortescue policies, health, safety and environmental requirements, financial targets alongside schedule commitments.

Key Responsibilities- Management of a substantial capital portfolio and large-scale projects whilst ensuring the successful delivery of business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, setting clear expectations whilst ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
- Provide visible positive leadership by demonstrating safe behaviours at all times and displaying the Fortescue values
- Contribute to the development of best practices and process enhancements
- Providing support and input into process to ensure all scheduled tasks are achievable and allow for efficient delivery
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management including knowledge of financial forecasting and cost control
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive team environment and culture
- Engineering qualification highly desirable
- Strong self-management and performance capabilities, organisation skills and priority management
- Flexibility and creativity with the ability to create and adopt new methods and processes to deliver outcomes and challenge existing paradigms
