Responsibilities:
- Business partner with the leadership team to help hone and manage Commercial and financial strategy in line with company growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team in the preparation of major tenders and customer analysis, including contract reviews and risk assessment.
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to factor into value proposition, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop sound cost/financial models and scenario planning.
- Provide timely, accurate financial reporting for the Board and management team
- Produce cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
- Identify and mitigate key financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee fundraising efforts, including equity and debt financing, and support investor relations activities, including communication with shareholders and analysts
- Manage the grants and incentives process, including R&D Tax Incentives, Export Market Development Grants, and Accelerating Commercialisation grants
- Support the company's transition to becoming a public unlisted entity
- Collaborate closely with insurance professionals and legal advisors to ensure compliance with professional indemnity, public liability, and other legal obligations.
About You:
- A proactive problem solver, you’re comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a broad role remit.
- You have a finance grounding (and likely CA/CPA qualifications) but have always had a natural inclination towards commercial roles.
- A natural communicator, able to engage non-finance professionals with ease
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements relevant to professional indemnity, public liability, and other insurances (preferred but not essential)
