About the role
The Manager, Corporate and Digital Procurement will be a key player in business partnering, acting as the subject matter expert while overseeing Corporate and Technology Procurement streams.
This role involves leading a team to develop and implement supply category strategies aligned with enterprise objectives, executing procurement initiatives to benefit the enterprise, and engaging stakeholders to enhance procurement service offerings.
Additionally, the role has responsibility from a Procurement Manager perspective for its own Digital stakeholder portfolio, encompassing full end-to-end procurement processes, including contract management, supplier relationships, category management, and market engagements, with a focus on delivering optimal results and effective management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage Corporate and Digital Procurement team members, who each have their own area of practice
- Manage own area of Procurement practice focussed on the Digital space, including dealing with commercial aspects of day-to-day operations and specific projects.
- Offer specialised advice on commercial, sourcing, tendering, policy, and processes.
- Develop and implement commercial contract management principles.
- Establish and maintain rigorous processes for managing commercial contracts and supply base categories.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise strategy, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk management activities and adapt strategies to changing enterprise and market conditions.

Moreover, you will demonstrate outstanding leadership and business management skills with a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
Your capacity to showcase exceptional influencing skills, supported by evidence of leading significant commercial negotiations, along with your comprehensive understanding of stakeholders' businesses and the specific issues they encounter, will be greatly valued.

- Relevant tertiary qualification in legal, commercial, or related fields.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in understanding market conditions, trends, and typical terms of trade for products and services.

- Capability to gather essential data and resources for ensuring successful processes.
