This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2024
As the Manager Corporate Services (MCS), the successful applicant will be responsible for the financial management of the school's short, medium, and long term planning, as well as the human resource management for support staff. They will ensure compliance with government policy and procedures in the areas of financial and human resource management with a full understanding of school's resourcing and the Student Centred Funding Model (SCFM). Working knowledge of RM Finance, RAMS (Recruitment Advertising Management System) and HRMIS (Human Resources Management Information Systems) would be advantageous.
The successful applicant should have well-developed oral written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills, sound financial management skills including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures. They should also possess sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems; leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices; ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans; and sound conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Beldon Education Support Centre (ESC) is on the ancient land of the Whaduk Nyoongar people and is collocated with Beldon Primary School on Pacific Way in Beldon.
Beldon ESC is a level 4 specialist Independent Public Primary School for students with disabilities. Our motto 'Aspire to go beyond' represents our commitment to deliver a functional curriculum that is reflective of the individual students' specific needs and future desires.
At Beldon ESC we believe that when a student feels nurtured and safe, they can thrive on their learning journey. Our school enables every child to have access to a high-quality education via individual programming. Our experienced multidisciplinary team includes special needs teachers, general primary teachers, allied professionals, a school chaplain, a school psychologist, consulting therapists, and school administrators. We have a high staff-to-student ratio empowering all students to achieve their learning outcomes.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
